Hi All,

I’ve been asked to help with the joyous task of creating and updating the Macmillan MeanMachines Blog 2011.

With less than 2 months to go it’s a good time to start letting you guys know how we are all getting on with training, fund raising and anything else that coincides with this epic challenge across the Pyrenees!

First and foremost I wanted to let you all know how well we all did last weekend at the first MeanMachine auction. I’m sure some of you have already spoken with Michael but we managed to raise £10,000 which is an amazing effort from all involved, from bidders and organisers to the people that very kindly donated the free gifts……. Not to mention the raffle ticket saleswomen extraordinaires!!

We still have a long way to go if we are going to hit our target of £20,000 so if you haven’t yet donated PLEASE visit our just giving site and show us how generous you can be! As you already know it’s for a great cause.

Cheers MMMs

PS - I will be updating and adding posts on a weekly basis. Please feel free to add comments and suggestions to help me make this as interesting as possible.
